Pfizer Inc. said Tuesday it is planning to expand its online prescription sales force in the United States to include erectile dysfunction drugs in its online drugstore.
The move comes after the U. S. Food and Drug Administration approved Viagra as a treatment for the symptoms of erectile dysfunction. The company said Tuesday that it has completed phase II studies of Viagra, a generic version of Pfizer's popular erectile dysfunction drug, for sale.

Cialis is approved for treating erectile dysfunction in men, while Viagra is approved for treating pulmonary arterial hypertension, a form of high blood pressure in the lungs.
